The challenge
Intimate Tiles is a prominent wholesale and retail tile and flooring depot in Kozhikode, and a dealer for leading brands like Kajaria and RAK Ceramics. The business had grown into a destination. Its brand needed to look the part: an identity strong enough to stand beside the big names it sells, and clear enough to work on everything from a building facade to a business card.
What we did
We delivered a complete rebrand: logo, brand identity and how it is used.
- The mark: four tiles set in a diamond, meeting at a single point. It is built from the product itself, so the logo says “tiles” before anyone reads a word.
- Colour: warm, earthy tones of terracotta, red, brown and maroon, the colours of fired clay and natural stone.
- The wordmark: a confident charcoal “intimate” paired with a lighter “tiles” in orange, giving the name weight while keeping it friendly and modern.
- Built to scale: the identity works as large as a showroom facade and as small as a phone screen, and holds its own next to partner brands on shared signage.
Today the identity is the face of the business: across the showroom at Malaparamba Junction, on roadside hoardings, and on co-branded signage alongside the brands Intimate Tiles represents. It gives a local business the presence of a regional leader.
