The challenge
Sree Subramania Ayurvedic Nursing Home (SSANH) in Calicut carries a 400-year Ayurvedic lineage and 50 years of institutional healing, founded in 1972 by the Thekkayil family and now NABH-accredited.
Its reputation was strong among people who already knew it. But today, people looking for Ayurvedic treatment for back pain, arthritis or spine problems search online first, and they compare hospitals from anywhere in India and abroad. SSANH needed its heritage and its results to be visible to people who had never heard of it.
What we did
For two years we ran SSANH’s social media and local search.
- Condition-focused content: clear, organised content around the conditions people actually search for: back pain, knee pain, cervical spondylosis, rheumatoid arthritis, disc problems and more, each with its own highlight so a visitor finds their concern in seconds.
- Real patient voices: patient experience videos, shared with their consent, which do more to build trust than any claim a hospital can make about itself.
- Heritage, told well: the hospital’s 400-year lineage and 50-year legacy presented with the dignity it deserves, alongside rejuvenation programmes and festive moments.
- Local search: Google Business Profile and local optimisation, so the hospital appears when people search for Ayurvedic treatment in Calicut and Kerala.
SSANH’s reach has grown well beyond its traditional circle. Patients now come from other states and other countries, the hospital’s inpatient beds are consistently in demand, and it has gained real standing in the Ayurvedic community in and around Calicut.
